The person will also analyze data and support studies, requiring expertise in ddPCR, qPCR, and nucleic acid isolation.Location: South San Francisco, CAPay rate: $49 hr./- $53/ hr.Schedule: M-F 8-5pm or 9-6pm, fully onsiteJob type: 1 year contractResponsibilities:

Identify and prioritize the studies to support on a given day

Process inbound samples for laboratory testing

Conduct various assays on samples and accurately record data in an electronic laboratory notebook

Assist in optimizing assays under development

Analyze and present data to the team

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of ddPCR (droplet digital PCR) and qPCR, with manual processing experience (not automated)

Experience in tissue processing

Over 2 years of experience in nucleic acid isolation (DNA/RNA extraction) from a variety of tissue types

Experience working with viral vectors (e.g., AAVs, lentivirus) is a plus

Strong communication skills

Ability to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with team members
