Position Overview: We are seeking a Tax Preparer to join our team in Tracy, CA. This is a full-time, in-office position. The ideal candidate will have proven experience preparing individual and business tax returns, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and file accurate federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses
Review financial records, statements, and documents to ensure compliance with tax regulations
Provide clients with clear explanations of tax return outcomes and answer related questions
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information
Stay current with tax laws, regulations, and updates
Requirements:
CTEC license (preferred)
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience preparing taxes
Strong knowledge of federal and California state tax codes
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:
Hourly pay: $25 – $30 per hour, depending on experience

This is an in-office position located in Tracy, CA
Must be available to work Monday through Sunday
