Farmer's Markets Vendor:
Looking for someone overqualified but possibly in transition. Smit Farms is an organic farm that is one of California's premier farmers' market vendors. You would be representing our farm at various farmers' markets.
Are you an early riser (at the farm at 5 a.m.)? Are you a people person? You must be able to handle large crowds of people? Can you lift a 50 lb box? Are you integral? Are you intelligent? How is your driving record? If you think you are all of these and more please send us a RESUME. Don't respond without one.
Description:
You will be driving from the farm to the market, setting up
your booth, selling to customers, packing up, and driving back to the farm. Vehicle is provided.
No prior market experience is required, however, a background in customer service is preferred.
Position is for part time, Sunday at this time. More work might be available for the right person.
Farmers' market pay is $12 per hour plus bonus structure for good sales. Potential to do very well for the right person.
