DELIVERY DRIVER POSITION:
Job Purpose:
Farmbox California delivers farm fresh boxes of local, seasonal produce & artisan groceries to our members in the Bay Area.
Shift starts at 5:00 am and is completed when you have finished your deliveries and return to our delivery hub in Tracy.
Our delivery drivers operate Tuesday - Friday.
Compensation: Starting at $200 per day
Hours: 40+ hours/week
Start Date: Immediately
Qualifications:
- A clean driver’s license (DMV drivers record required at time of the interview, available online for $5: https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/detail/online/dr/welcome)
- Be at least 25 years of age (24 years old is okay if you are turning 25 later this year)
- Work safely and swiftly with attention to detail
- Be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Be courteous and polite
- Ability/ Skill to drive a small Sprinter Van in the Bay Area
WAREHOUSE PACKER POSITION:
Job Purpose:
As a Warehouse Packer, you'll work collaboratively with a small fun and vibrant warehouse team to package top quality produce and artisan goods! You'll have a range of other duties that help get great local food to our customers, detailed below.
Our warehouse is operational Monday - Thursday.
Compensation: Starting at $16.00 per hour
Hours: 30+ hours/week
Start Date: Immediately
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Packer, you are the heart of the company because you fulfill customer orders. Your work puts delicious, local food in our customer's homes.
Our team all works together to fulfill customers' orders on time and to the highest standard. Flexibility to perform different duties around the warehouse at any given time is required for this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
Commit to being a strong and reliable member of a team that is dedicated to the highest levels of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
Pack every Farmbox efficiently, correctly and with a high standard of quality
Work to support the overall goals of the team
Support an injury-free workplace
Use good judgment in evaluating produce quality and packaging
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
Maintain the highest levels of personal hygiene and workplace sanitation
Help organize, pack, clean, and prepare for the following day
Load and unload pack lines
Unload and properly store inbound delivery items
Understand and carry out all assigned duties and tasks for any and every station
Carry out all duties, expressed or otherwise, as assigned by management
Requirements for both positions:
Must be able to work flexible hours depending on the workload
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to lift 40 lbs
Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, as temperatures will vary.
