Job Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Reports to supervisor(s)
b. Dictation/faxing/phone calls and clerical tasks such as filing, scanning and
attaching documents
c. Answering phone call/questions if needed
d. Translating (if employee is bilingual)
e. Observation of physician and patient interaction in order to collect, organize
and catalog data
f. Following physician while he consults with patients
g. Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they
are being performed by the physician which could include but not limited
to; patient medical history, procedures and treatments, patient education and explanation of risks and benefits, and prepare md notes as directed by the physician
h. Travel to other locations with the physicians if needed
i. Running physician errands if requested
j. Coverage for other scribes if needed
k. Any duty asked upon you by management or the physician
L. Provides administrative support to all administrative employees including but
not limited to the Practice Manager, HR Manager, and Billing Manager.
M. Orders/referrals if requested by the physician(s)
N. Any other task asked upon you by management or the shareholders.

b. Medical terminology courses
c. Understanding of basic anatomy and physiology
(4) Working conditions:
a. In office position (some home hours if approved)
b. Exposure to Infusion clinic, blood, body fluids
c. Basic physical requirements:
i. Climbing
ii. standing for long periods of time
iii. Stooping
iv. Sitting and typing for long periods of time
v. Lifting up to 10 lbs
(5) Travel Requirements:
a. Travel as needed with the physician between Stockton and Tracy
i. All travel/mileage is reimbursed at 0.625/mile while on the clock
(6) Compensation:
a. Non-exempt position, hourly position. 25 to 30 hours per week
b. Hourly range of $18.00-$21.00. Compensation is based on past job
experience.
