Minimum Requirements
Must be willing to drive to areas listed above
PT/OT: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist in California.
COTA/PTA: Current certification or licensure in California.
Experience:
PT/OT: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (new grads are welcome to apply).
COTA/PTA: Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience preferred (new grads are welcome to apply).
Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
Reliable transportation to travel between locations.
Responsibilities
PT/OT:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans.
Provide hands-on treatment and monitor patient progress.
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
A PTA works under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide care aimed at improving patients' mobility, strength, and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by a PT.
Perform exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions to improve strength and mobility.
Monitor patient responses and progress, reporting to the PT.
Documentation:
Record patient progress and update treatment notes.
Patient Education:
Teach patients how to perform exercises safely and provide guidance on improving posture and body mechanics.
Collaboration:
Assist in implementing therapy plans under supervision.
Support patients in achieving their functional goals.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care.
Communicate with patient's caregivers, and other healthcare professionals about patient needs.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
A COTA works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to help patients develop, recover, and maintain skills needed for daily living and working.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Assist with implementing therapy activities that focus on improving fine motor skills, coordination, and independence in daily tasks.
Help patients use adaptive equipment or techniques for self-care and work-related tasks.
Documentation:
Record patient progress and report to the OT.
Patient and Caregiver Education:
Teach patients and their families strategies for performing tasks or adapting their environment to improve safety and independence.
Collaboration:
Work closely with OTs, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
