We are hiring for our prevention driven dental practice in Stockton and would love to have you join our team. Your role as a health care provider on our team is vital in helping our patients obtain and maintain excellent oral and systemic health. Duties include taking images, medical and dental history updates, periodontal and oral cancer exams, oral and nutrition education, prophylaxis and periodontal therapy, sealants and record documentation. Our office utilizes Dentrix Ascend with voice activated periodontal charting and digital imaging along with intraoral cameras and an iMedit Scanner. Functioning as a team is important and willingness to help out with other office/sterilization duties keeps the office flowing smoothly.
1-3 days available. Salary $60/hr with benefits available for full time employment. New hygiene graduates encouraged to apply.
Current CA state Dental Hygienist license and knowledge of health and safety regulations, including infection control, Blood borne pathogens, HIPAA.
Excellent patient communication skills, gentle in both touch and word and positive energy to motivate patients and interact with co-
workers.
Time management skills imperative to stay on appointment time and respect patient's time.
Provide prophylaxis, scaling and root planing and local anesthesia skillfully and gently with through removal of deposits. Complete
and accurate documentation of patient encounter.
Maintain equipment, sharpen scalers and keep operatory clean and uncluttered. Assist with operation of practice as needed.
Good ergonomic skills and ability to meet physical demands of the profession.
Experience a plus, but new graduates encouraged to apply and will be provided mentorship.
