The following is a list of possible responsibilities:
1. To maintain a safe and clean environment at all times
2. To develop a chore list/ schedule for chores
3. To assist client with household chores as necessary
4. To assist client with laundry as necessary
5. To monitor and assist client with appropriate hygiene as necessary
6. To transport client to community recreational and social activities
7. To assist client in developing a weekly menu plan
8. To assist client in developing a grocery shopping list
9. To assist in grocery shopping and any other necessary shopping
10. To assist client in preparing main meal(s)
11. To assist client in setting up weekly medication tray
12. To make sure all medication is refilled as necessary
13. To monitor and assist client with taking all medication as prescribed
14. To assist client with scheduling all necessary medical and dental appointments
15. To provide transportation and accompaniment to all scheduled and emergency medical appointments as
necessary
16. To complete required paperwork and to keep an accurate record of all medical and dental appointments
17. To assist client in responding to mail in an appropriate and timely manner
18. To assist client in dealing with community agencies
19. To assist client to access the community and / or provide mobility training
20. To assist client with all phases pf money management including: budgeting, writing checks, getting spending
money for the week and paying bills in a timely manner
21. To attend training as required by employer
22. To maintain a positive relationship with client. Name- calling, raising the voice, swearing, or engaging/
participating in power struggles or anything deemed to be client endangerment would be immediate ground
for termination
23. Other duties as assigned
