Position: Construction Project Manager – $25–$30/hr (Starting)
Location: Central Valley
Compensation: $25–$30 per hour (DOE)
About the Position:
We are a growing construction company looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee residential and/or commercial construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and can lead a crew while coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and manage all phases of construction projects
- Coordinate and supervise field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Track project timelines, budgets, and materials
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets quality and safety standards
- Communicate with clients and management regarding project updates and any issues
- Handle permitting, inspections, and documentation as needed
- Problem-solve and make real-time decisions to keep projects moving efficiently
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in construction management or a related role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices
- Ability to read blueprints and project plans
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, project tracking software a plus)
- Prevailing wage jobs (preferred)
- Working on school sites (preferred)
