Wilson Family Winery is seeking a reliable, hardworking Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance the beauty of our property. This role is essential in preparing the winery for weekend visitors, tastings, and seasonal events. You’ll also have opportunities to assist in cellar tasks and participate in the excitement of grape harvest.
Key Responsibilities:
Weekly Landscaping Tasks:
o Mow and edge lawns, blow walkways and patios
o Trim trees, hedges, and vines
o General upkeep to keep grounds clean, tidy, and picturesque
Weekend & Event Preparation:
o Set up and take down tables, chairs, and umbrellas
o Ensure outdoor guest areas are clean and welcoming
Maintenance Support:
o Basic painting and property upkeep
o Power washing walkways and walls as needed
Harvest Season Duties (Seasonal):
o Assist in grape harvesting and basic cellar work
Tools & Equipment Use:
o Operate lawn maintenance equipment and hand/power tools
o Use shovels, picks, axes, and other basic tools
o Irrigation troubleshooting a plus (sprinklers, drip systems)
