DNA Restoring Concrete refinishes concrete floors: polished concrete, sealed concrete, stained concrete and more. We are looking for technicians to add to our team - no experience is required. Requirements to start are work boots and reliable transportation.

We are working in Modesto today and are ready to hire. Expect to work 8-12 hour days, 4-5 days a week.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

Surface Preparation:

Clean and prep concrete surfaces (e.g., sweeping, patching minor cracks).

Assist in basic grinding and sanding under supervision.

Masking and protecting non-concrete areas for coatings or treatments.

Material Handling:

Assist with mixing materials like stains, epoxies, and sealers.

Learn proper handling and storage of finishing materials and chemicals.

Equipment Use & Servicing:

Operate basic tools (vacuums, small grinders, hand tools) safely.

Perform routine cleaning of tools and equipment after use.

Vehicle & Shop Upkeep:

Assist in shop organization and general maintenance tasks.

Support loading and unloading of tools, materials, and equipment from vehicles.

Learning Tasks:

Begin familiarization with different material systems (epoxy, polished concrete, sealed concrete).

Observe and assist in joint repairs and other specialized tasks.

With no experience, you start as a Junior Technician - $22/hr.

With experience, Technicians start at $25/hr.

Well experienced senior technicians make over $30 hr.

This is the Promotion Pathway Overview

Junior Technician → Technician:

Master surface prep and basic equipment.

Gain driving and trailer handling certification.

Develop material system knowledge and assist with system applications.

Technician → Senior Technician:

Lead more complex surface prep, including joint repairs.

Master epoxy, polished, and sealed concrete applications.

Handle larger equipment and take on more reporting responsibilities.

Senior Technician → Lead Technician:

Oversee the entire job process, including equipment maintenance, job flow, and team management.

Act as the primary on-site contact for client communication and project updates.

Take ownership of vehicle and shop upkeep, ensuring all company assets are maintained.
