Position Summary
We are looking for an Auto Mechanic to join our team who is self-motivated, responsible, able to multi-task, fast thinker, able to diagnose problems, and make common sense decisions. We need someone who is dependable, has a good attendance record with solid experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
Driver’s license (Required)
Journey Level Mechanic
Provide Vehicle Pre-Trips
Attention to details and thoroughness required
Able to follow directions and prioritize task
Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
Conduct repairs to vehicles and small engines
Vehicle pre-trips
Conduct inspections of company vehicles pertaining to on-road and off-road equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems to communicate to management.
Complete preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
Oversee and update vehicle maintenance Files.
Complete estimates of parts and labor needed for vehicles.
Manage inventory and order parts/supplies
Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment appropriately and professionally.
Must be deadline driven and possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to maintain mechanic shop, equipment, and tools in a clean, orderly, and safe condition
Must be highly motivated to meet and exceed work expectations.
Must be able to communicate and interact with service technicians, supervisors, office assistants, vendors, and technical support to help determine level of service and/ or repair needed for equipment and/or job needs.
Fabrication a Plus
Some PC Knowledge good

$22-$28 an hour based on experience
