The ideal candidate will manage inventory, support the efficient operation of the warehouse, and ensure all goods are accurately stored and shipped. This role involves physical tasks, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with other team members to meet operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming
inventory. Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory records as
needed.
Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Ensure
accuracy and timeliness in order processing.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other
warehouse equipment. Perform routine maintenance checks on
equipment.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
environment. Follow layout plans and storage guidelines to optimize space
and accessibility.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and procedures to
minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and
departments to ensure efficient workflow and resolve any issues that arise.
Reporting: Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues with inventory or
equipment to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory role preferred.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
Requires standing, lifting, and moving for extended periods.
