Delta Star, Inc. is a manufacturer of quality transformers and the sole manufacturer of mobile transformers and mobile substations in the United States. The Delta Star Inc. San Carlos, CA plant has an immediate opening for Assemblers.
Looking for mechanically inclined candidates with strong work ethic looking for a very rewarding career assembling transformers.
Use and be familiar with basic hand and power tools.
Must be able to use basic measuring tools.
Ability to properly and safely utilize various tools, equipment, and forklift.
Insulation Fabricator
Performs setup, regulates, and operates all machines used to process various insulation materials.
Performs work according to drawing and to specifications.
Willing to train candidates with good mechanical aptitude.
Willing to train candidates with good mechanical aptitude.
Manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required.
Experience in one or more of the following fields preferred, but not required
Construction
Plumbing
Electrical
This is a union position with IBEW Local 1245. Swing shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) and Graveyard shift (10:30 PM - 6:30 AM). Training is either on Day or swing shift.
IBEW Union Hourly rate: $22.58 (Swing) $23.43(Graveyard) & bonus
