Uni-Fab Industries has opened a 2nd manufacturing facility in Mountain House, directly across the freeway from Tracy. We are looking for highly motivated employees to join our manufacturing team. UFI is a rapidly growing manufacturing company with our main facility in Fremont.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Deburr sheet metal parts
Grind welds
Contouring metal to prep for paint
Stroke sanding (Graining)
Bead-blasting
Technical Background: (Required Skillset)
3 years’ min experience
Operate grinders & oscillators
Operate speed sander
Understanding of the different materials (CRS, SST, Alum)
Some Blueprint reading
KNOWLEDGE OF:
Materials - Steel, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Brass, and Copper
Deburr materials – griding and sanding media
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is performed while standing.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Requires bending, squatting, reaching.
Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds
Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity.
