Job Description:
As a Sandblaster at Rackley Bilt Custom Trailers, you will be responsible for preparing metal surfaces for painting and finishing. This critical role ensures that all surfaces are smooth, clean, and free of rust, paint, and other contaminants, guaranteeing the highest quality finish for our products.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare trailer surfaces.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Inspect surfaces to ensure they are properly cleaned and prepared for painting.
Perform routine maintenance on sandblasting equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of projects.
Document work processes and maintain records as required.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with sandblasting equipment and techniques preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to sandblasting.
Pay Rate: $22-26 per hour based on experience
