Summary/Objective:
The Inventory Coordinator will provide critical analytical and operational support to the Warehouse Team. This is a versatile and proactive position that drives improved inventory management methods and understands warehouse processes. The ideal candidate has warehouse inventory management experience, strong project management and communication skills, is self-motivated, pays great attention to detail, and has work experience with Microsoft Office and SAP. A successful candidate will be able to analyze inventory data to determine necessary action items while working cross functionally to implement inventory and planning improvements.
Essential Job Functions:
Identify stranded inventory (SKU with more than 1 vintage, RMA, Long-term Hold inventory including QC and Marketing Holds, as At Risk)
Utilize reporting tool to Cycle count, manage stranded inventory, lost inventory and RMA inventory
Work with Customer Service, Supply Planning, QA and S&OP as needed to manage inventory requests.
Regularly review inventory and prompt QA with inventory tasting to ensure viability for sale.
Identify and report on inventory areas that appear to be growing faster than depletions
Conduct daily cycle counts throughout the warehouse.
Use reporting tool to manage inventory.
Identify and manage “use up” inventory depending on code in SAP, work with business partners to make any necessary adjustments
Serve as gate keeper for approval before transition to new vintages to ensure depletion
Ensure inventory is properly classified – Bonded, Tax Paid, Hold and lot segregation
Process or delegate inventory re-classified items
Track, process and report on shipping errors, including credit orders and RMA’s
Identify and resolve order issues
Report inventory status’ daily to the Warehouse leaders
Determine inventory locations based on inbound deliveries.
Review inventory sheets for accuracy and any further action required.
Process imports receiving, QC and inventory sheets
Identify and initiate sampling for QC on new vintages or changes for imports
Responsible for creating, reviewing and reconciling monthly ISO reports
Responsible for consolidating inventory locations when necessary
Responsible for maximizing utilization of warehouse/assigned offsite locations
Lead key areas of year end inventory
Ensure year end inventory prep is accurate and completed
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Fork Lift Certification
0 – 2 years’ related experience
Understanding of SAP EWM and IM
Ability to function in a complex organizational structure and maintain strong business partnerships using communication.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of all processes and job functions within the warehouse is desired
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Work Environment: - Works outdoors/indoors - Works in warm/cold climates - Works in high places - Works on wet surfaces - Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals - Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic - Must be able to move up to 55 lbs - Primary office environment may be warehouse/distribution setting
- Some Saturdays will be required

The salary range for this role is:
$22.74 - $32.06
