Price Rite Restaurant Equipment, located in downtown Stockton, Ca is looking for a full time employee to perform warehouse work and customer delivery and installation work.
Job brief
We are looking for a combination Warehouse Worker and reliable Delivery Driver. Warehouse Worker responsibilities include receiving, unpacking and storing materials, and picking and assembling, customer orders. You should be willing to work individually or as part of a delivery team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or customer pickup
Assembling items for customer pick up or delivery (i.e. tables, chairs, shelving, etc.)
Receive stock deliveries and process receiving paperwork
Stock merchandise on store shelves
Perform periodic inventory counts and report any discrepancies
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize warehouse space utilization
Communicate and cooperate with coworkers
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers utilizing the company’s delivery vehicles in a safe, timely manner
Assisting with loading and unloading items from customer vehicles
Accepting payments for delivered items
Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from customers.
Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
Operating equipment and warehouse machinery, delivery trucks, forklifts, etc.
Requirements and skills:
Proven working experience as a Warehouse and/or Delivery Worker
Ability to install restaurant equipment
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift heavy objects
Current forklift license
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license issued by the state of California
Ability to safely drive the company box van delivery truck
Clean driving record
Strong customer service skills
Attention to detail
Approximate allocation of time:
30% to 45% of time performing warehouse duties to include receiving, stocking, and preparing for deliveries (loading company liftgate truck)
20% to 35% of time performing assembling items to fulfill customer orders
20% to 35% delivering and installing items to customers at customer locations
20% to 35% of time stocking store merchandise and performing other duties as necessary
