Restaurant Sales Representative (Catering & Events)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Restaurant Sales Representative to drive revenue by securing catering bookings, private events, and corporate reservations. This role involves building relationships with businesses, event planners, and customers to promote our restaurant as a top destination for private dining, corporate meetings, and special events. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with excellent communication and networking skills.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new catering, corporate, and event booking opportunities.
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses.
Promote the restaurant’s catering services, private dining spaces, and event packages.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and attending local business events.
Customize proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals for catering and event bookings.
Coordinate with restaurant management and kitchen staff to ensure seamless event execution.
Track and follow up with potential and existing clients to drive repeat business.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and bookings using CRM software.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.
Represent the restaurant at industry networking events, trade shows, and business gatherings.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience in sales, catering, hospitality, or restaurant industry.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and proactively seek new business opportunities.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of event planning, catering logistics, and corporate hospitality needs.
Willingness to attend networking events and meet clients outside standard business hours.
