Swaner Hardwood is looking for a service representative in Northern CA (Stockton/Lodi). We are seeking a hardworking individual that is positive, outgoing, and ambitious. This individual needs to be able to work independently, be courteous, and be able to establish relationships with outside retail store staff, fellow co-workers, and management.
This position starts at $18.00, with the opportunity for pay increase after a 90-day review with good performance. The position also includes quarterly bonuses per year and full benefits.
Work Schedule:
Location: Northern CA - Stockton and Lodi areas (some out of town overnight trips required)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, typically 5:30AM-4:00PM
Environment: Perform work in big box retail stores mainly, drive from location to location on a daily basis
Job Summary:
Work with manager to determine schedule and ensure all stores are serviced on a regular basis
Drive to retail stores to clean, organize, and stock lumber (as needed)
Determine low/out of stock product and place order via iPad in store
Work with manager to find ways to increase sales and merchandise product
Maintain company-provided vehicle and uphold all safety rules and regulations
Comply with all company policies while onsite at retail stores
Perform other duties as required
Knowledge, Skill and Experience:
1. Minimum Education required: High school graduate or a GED equivalent
2. Skills Required:
Knowledge of wood species and products is a PLUS
Has worked in Construction and or warehouse environment
Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including long periods of standing, bending, and lifting lumber
Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs on a frequent basis
Ability to work well with others
3. License/Certification (If required for position):
CA Driver’s License with clean driving record
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical
