Experienced Automotive Technician
The best automotive repair shop in Amador County is looking to add to its team. Sterling Auto Repair is an established, family-oriented business serving our community for over 10 years and we are looking for a qualified, eager individual to join our team.
We are a fast paced and expanding shop that services Amador county and the surrounding areas. Centrally located with easy access to the valley. Our automotive technicians enjoy working in our spacious facility and we treat them like family. If you are a dedicated automotive technician with solid diagnostic skills and want to fully use your experience, knowledge and problem-solving skills, then Sterling Auto Repair is where you need to be!
We offer top pay based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair on customer vehicles
- Good communication and customer service with clients
- Perform basic through advanced maintenance and auto care tasks
- Ability to diagnose problems using diagnostic equipment
- Test operations of various parts and systems
- Light and heavy duty electrical, heating, A/C interior work
- Help keep shop clean and organized
Qualifications:
- 10-15 + years of experience
- Possess own tools
- ASE Certified not required but preferred
- MACS Certified
- Proficient knowledge and use of diagnostic equipment
- Familiar with diesel, domestic and Asian vehicles
- Front end experience a plus
- Valid CA license and clean driving record
- Works well with others
