Is hiring for Inventory Specialist position located in Northern California areas.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for the collection and maintenance of tree inventory data using GIS-based tools and other methods. This includes field data collection, inventory updates, and similar tasks. The position involves working closely with the GIS Manager, internal staff, and external partners to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory data. The role offers professional growth.

WORK HOURS

7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Opportunity to travel various project sites.

SALARY RANGE

Salary range $75,000.00 up to $91,300.00 annually, D.O.E.

QUALIFICATIONS

High level of organizational skills and computer literacy, along with basic clerical aptitude.

Knowledge of arboriculture, including tree/planting species identification.

College course work in Arboriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Currently hold or obtain ISA Certified Arborist Credential.

Proficiency in GIS-based systems and inventory software, preferred.

Prior experience in tree inventory or related positions.

Valid Driver’s License.

REGULAR JOB DUTIES

Collect and maintain tree inventory data using handheld devices.

Prepare and organize work plans as it pertains to inventory updating process.

Collaborate with various partner staff on tree inventory functions.

Perform additional duties as required.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

Activities include bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and reaching.

Frequent work on uneven surfaces.

Occasional lifting of objects weighing over 50 pounds.

Frequent lifting of 10-25 pounds.

JOB CLASS

Class III - Moderate physical activity. On feet most of time, occasional lifting of objects weighing over 50 pounds, frequent lifting of 10-25 pounds.
