We are currently seeking experienced roofing professionals for residential roof inspections and repairs in multiple markets within California.
Our primary service area where needing immediate help is the central valley Lodi/Stockton area, but we are looking to expand to other markets as well, and currently also do work in the bay area as well as Sacramento, and the Fairfield to Santa Rosa areas. Candidates may need to travel frequently.
If you are looking for great pay, flexible hours, and a less labor intensive experience in the roofing industry, send us your resume and/or your contact info with a brief description of your history in the trade.
If you have thought about getting your roofing contractors license but find it is too difficult or daunting a task, contact us about a potential semi-franchise type opportunity. The right candidate(s) can potentially be their own boss and share profits without going through the process of getting their own license.
What we look for in potential employees or partners:
- Reliable transportation and dependability: It is essential to not miss appointments, to be punctual, and to be able to get to the job without fail, especially in the roofing business where job completion can be detrimental with possible inclement weather. We do not currently provide work vehicles, however, we do re-imburse documented work miles using the full IRS mileage rate. Trucks or other utility type vehicles capable of carrying a two-story ladder are often needed.
- Efficiency and organization: Be efficient at getting the work done in a timely manner on budget and not keeping the customer or management waiting. Be able to keep track of receipts, documents, and other critical job materials.
- Communication, competency, and literacy: You would be responsible for making your own appointments in most cases, talking to customers, and typing up work orders, reports, invoices, etc. Computer use and literacy will be required.
- Cleanliness and professionalism: You must be capable of presenting yourself in a professional, appropriate manner. We do not accept offensive language, attitude, or otherwise derogatory behavior or markings such as offensive or obscene tattoos, clothing, etc., and be hygienically conscientious.
- Enthusiastic and ambitious: Ideal employees/partners should be able to gain new customers and keep a positive outlook on continually improving, themselves in the trade and the company overall.
- Safety: You absolutely must be able to perform your duties safely and without jeopardizing yourself, others, equipment or property. Safety is essential to prevent injury or death, and damage control is an important responsibility in the construction industry, to prevent costly, unnecessary expenses.
