Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated Subcontractor Slab Installer. The Slab Installer will be responsible for the precise installation of natural stone, quartz, and porcelain slabs across residential and commercial projects. This position requires strong technical skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently while adhering to project deadlines and quality standards. We offer flexibility in scheduling and are willing to accommodate your availability to ensure a productive working relationship.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Ability to lift 100+ pounds with assistance
Ability to load company truck, safely drive to job site and load slabs into project locations
Ability to kneel, bend frequently and crouch
Ability to maintain and operate installation tools and equipment
Ability to install slabs, set seams, mount sinks, cut to length, and install backsplash, caulk, clean and seal slabs
Ability to communicate with project manager/homeowner during installation process
Ability to ensure installations are completed in a timely manner and that jobsite is left clean upon completion
Compensation:
This subcontractor position offers compensation at a rate of $5 to $10 per square foot installed, commensurate with experience and expertise. The average installation size is approximately 100 square feet per project. We provide flexibility regarding installation days and hours to accommodate your schedule.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in Stone Industry desired, approximately 2-3 years
Valid CA Driver’s License
Must be able to work independently
