We are seeking a motivated and organized Truck Dispatcher to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating drivers, booking freight, and maintaining accurate load and customer records. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch drivers and manage daily load assignments
Book freight with brokers while maintaining profitable lanes
Monitor driver status and communicate ETAs, delays, and updates
Maintain accurate driver and load records, including BOLs, PODs, and trip details
Provide excellent customer service through timely and professional communication
Resolve scheduling or delivery issues quickly and effectively
Coordinate with billing and operations to ensure accurate documentation
Requirements:
Prior experience in truck dispatching, logistics coordination, or freight brokerage
Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills
Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation paperwork
Basic computer and dispatch software skills
Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with reefer, dry van, or grocery loads
Familiarity with DAT, Truckstop, or similar load boards
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
