Nevada Cement Company is currently accepting resumes for an upcoming position opening in Spring, 2024.
This job is located at the Nevada Cement - Stockton Import Terminal at the Port of Stockton, CA.
This full-time/hourly position is ideal for an entry-level worker who prefers working as part of a team. Among other duties, you will be using computers and machinery to load trucks and rail cars in a busy terminal environment. This is a union job, starting at $38/hour with competitive union benefits and overtime opportunities. Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and have full range of motion, as well as lift 50 lbs comfortably. In addition to a physical component, this job requires time-on-task in an office environment where sitting, artificial lighting, air conditioning and computer use are required. Attention to detail, knowledge of Windows computer operating system concepts, and excellent writing and math skills are required. High School Diploma/GED preferred. Schedule is 40 hours per week and may include rotation between different shifts as the operating needs of the terminal are adjusted seasonally.
