The Role:
Amazon Design Technologies is a multi-disciplinary team that provides design software, product data management (PDM), systems platforms and design processes to our Product Development, New Technology, Operations and Manufacturing teams. We are looking for passionate, hard-working and talented Software Development Engineer who have experience building innovative, mission critical applications to develop Amazon devices as efficient and frictionless as possible.

You will have an opportunity to make significant impact on design, release and manufacture of cutting-edge products used every day, by people across the world. You will demonstrate a strong working knowledge of software development for designing, developing and implementing enterprise engineering applications and systems integrations. You have the desire to learn from new challenges, problem solving and communication skills to work within a highly interactive and experienced design teams. Candidate must demonstrate an ability to integrate feedback and to respond quickly to changing contexts and work environments

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• 1+ years of experience in software development

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering or similar technical field, or equivalent software experience.
• 1+ years of Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving and complexity analysis.
• 1+ years of experience in at least, one modern programming language such as Java, C, Python or Perl
• 1+ years of experience working on REST, SQL, ReactJS, AngularJS or similar web frameworks
• Experience in service-oriented architecture and web application/services development
• 1+ years of experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior working experience/knowledge in AWS cloud
• Cloud native or cloud enabled application development
• Experience building and managing infrastructure as a service.
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
