Full Payroll Ownership: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for both union and non-union employees, including salaried, hourly, and subcontractor wages using ADP Workforce Now.
Precision in Payroll Calculations: Ensure the accurate processing of salaries, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and benefits while maintaining compliance with tax and labor laws.
Collaborative Team Player: Work closely with HR and Benefits teams to ensure seamless integration of employee records, benefits, and deductions.
Compliance Expert: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, with a focus on prevailing wage laws and other construction-specific requirements.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Address payroll discrepancies and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing exceptional service to employees.
Year-End Reporting: Assist with year-end tasks, including W-2 and 1099 preparation, and ensure all payroll records are up to date.
Reporting & Analysis: Generate key payroll reports, analyze trends, and provide insights to support management in decision-making processes.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: At least 5 years of payroll accounting experience, ideally in the construction industry.
ADP Expertise: Solid experience using ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software to process payroll for a diverse workforce.
Strong Knowledge of Payroll Compliance: Familiarity with construction-specific payroll requirements, including prevailing wage laws, union regulations, and tax filings.
Analytical Mindset: Proficient in analyzing data and producing actionable payroll reports, with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups).
Detail-Oriented: You pride yourself on accuracy, ensuring that every paycheck is processed flawlessly.
Exceptional Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with employees, management, and external partners.
Problem-Solver: Ability to address issues proactively and find solutions quickly, ensuring smooth payroll operations.
