Our main Office is located in Susanville, CA. most projects are in Redding and City of Shasta areas in Shasta County.
This position will require travel between the two, how much depends on where you are located.
The Plumbing Project Manager will be responsible for effectively and efficiently overseeing plumbing and fire sprinkler projects from concept to completion using both plumbing technical knowledge and project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality following all code, safety and policy procedures and regulations (CalOSHA, the California State Contractors Licensing Board (CLSB), the State of California and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Call Before You Dig and local official departments) and while working with the Owner (report to), other project managers, architects, engineers, other contractors, vendors, inspectors and other public officials, administrative and other team members.
The Assistant Plumbing Project Manager will be required to have the same skills and abilities with the ability and desire to grow into a project management position.
Additional requirements: Well-spoken and capable of taking and giving direction, and providing information in a clear and concise manner. Able to make and act upon decisions. Excellent troubleshooter. Good organizational skills. Be safety conscious performing tasks and follow all CalOSHA, CSLB and State of California regulations and requirements. Maintain a clean driving record and being insurable. Have the heart of a teacher. More information available upon submittal of application and resume. Minimum of 1 year experience in the construction industry. Strong computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook and the experience or ability to quickly learn construction management software such as ProCore and Sage.
