Medical Device Company in Temecula, CA is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer.Overview:Design and develop products from concept to market with some guidance from engineers. Includes problem solving, sourcing products and solutions, and mechanical design, electrical design, embedded controls, smart displays and human interfaces. Physical design utilizing Solidworks. Some fabrication, machining, and assembly skills required for prototyping and working with production on new products.Redevelop existing products where changes are required or warranted.Maintain Bills of material for inventory control system.Manufacturing engineering - Work with production to develop manufacturing methods for new products and improve existing methods. Work with standard and custom production tools and equipment.Technical writing of internal and external manuals and instructions.Work with internal technical support and customers on product-related technical issues.Knowledge or experience with solid modeling; Solidworks proficiency a plus. Mechanical abilities and understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
