Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Facilities Associate based in Templeton, California. This role involves coordinating maintenance, cleaning, and shipping services in an industrial setting. As a Facilities Associate, you will be responsible for handling incoming service requests, maintaining purchasing records, and liaising with vendors and contractors. Responsibilities:
Receive and prioritize service requests, assigning tasks to the appropriate teams (electrical, plumbing, cleaning, or shipping).
Respond to emergencies by paging necessary personnel.
Assist the Facilities Manager by conducting investigations, gathering data, and preparing reports.
Order maintenance supplies and manage purchasing records, including maintaining a vendor roster for outside contractors.
Provide safety orientations to external contractors regarding facility requirements and protective equipment.
Prepare monthly reports tracking phone calls, work orders, and preventive maintenance hours.

Requirements:
Several years of office experience, ideally in a service-oriented facility.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with all levels of management and staff.
Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in word processing and personal computer applications.

Maintain a clean, quiet, and compliant environment according to hospital and regulatory standards.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of industry standards, particularly in healthcare settings.
Familiarity with vendor management and purchasing processes.
This is a full-time position with a standard 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. work schedule.
