Description Robert Half is excited to announce a Database/SQL Developer opportunity with one of their biggest clients in Torrance, CA.Job Description: Responsible for the development and maintenance of databases used to operate the customer data platform (CDP). Designing and streamlining our data operations and maintaining our database to ensure peak performance. Understanding business strategy and cascades business intelligence needs to the database level. Leverage best practice and patterns to bring success to the development team. System integrations with multiple projects and products. Influences system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancementsHybrid 2-3 in officeRequirements Requirements: BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT service In-depth knowledge of SQL language is a must Proficient with columnar databases and distributed SQL Query engine Proven experience as a Database/SQL Developer Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems Experience with full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile Data analytical skills and ability to analyze large datasets is required. Knowledge of Python is a plus.
