Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our clients team. In this role, you will be a vital component of our manufacturing operations, managing the general ledger, performing monthly close and reconciliation activities, and generating reports for various purposes. This role also offers the opportunity to collaborate with other departments and contribute to special projects. This role is located in the Stanislaus County. If interested contact Edgar Gonzalez, Recruiting Manager - 209.395.2259 - call or text.Responsibilities: Managing the general ledger and ensuring its accuracy Performing comprehensive bank account reconciliations on a regular basis Creating and posting detailed journal entries Conducting in-depth analysis of general ledger activity and identifying any variances Preparing informative reports for management, external auditors, and our external tax team Reconciling the trial balance meticulously Actively supporting other departments with various duties Undertaking special projects or other related duties as required Ensuring all activities are in compliance with our internal policies and external regulationsRequirements Applicant must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accountant role, preferably within the manufacturing industry Proficient in account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation, with a proven track record of accuracy and timeliness Experience in performing bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded Extensive knowledge of maintaining and managing general ledger accounts Ability to prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate reflection of company's financial status Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, including the ability to create and manipulate complex spreadsheets Demonstrated experience in month-end close processes, able to meet strict deadlines Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software, able to navigate and utilize its features effectively Experience with Oracle financial software, able to use it for various accounting tasks Proficiency in SAP software, with an emphasis on its accounting and financial modules.
