SummaryYou will serve as a AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT MECHANIC in the Public Works Division of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR. This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service..ResponsibilitiesYou will inspect, maintain, repair, alter, and install Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) equipment.You will maintain temperature and pressure controls of electrical/computer, and pneumatic types, to include thermostats.You will perform seasonal start up and shut down of HVACR systems.You will maintain bench level stock levels of parts, materials, tools, and equipment.RequirementsConditions of EmploymentQualificationsAlthough a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
