This candidate will fill the role of GCS II Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (SAASM) Mission Planning System (SMPS)Seeking a Systems Engineer-IT that provides technical support by completing Organizational Level and Depot Level Maintenance (OLM/DLM) Sustainment tasks for the SAASM Operational Support Element (SOSE).In this role you will also have the opportunity to support performance of the following tasks: coordinate all system maintenance requests, respond to/correct system outages, complete documentation supporting all trouble reporting and problem resolution actions taken associated with the mission system, support installation of software releases delivered by Depot Level Maintenance (DLM), support DLM release soak after installation, support DLM in other activities such as Urgent and Emergency Depot Level Maintenance (EDLM/UDLM) and Technical Assists (TA). Candidate will also assist with supporting mission support activities as required/directed. Position requires responding to after normal duty hours service requests.Basic Qualifications:Current Security + certificationProficient with a Unix (Solaris 11 preferred) and/or MicroSoft (MS) platform operating systemsFamiliar with RedHat LinuxStrong problem-solving skillsCandidate must be willing to work occasional weekends and respond to occasional after-hours support and travel to alternate operational location up to 4 times per year for up to a two-week period.Ability to work in a team-oriented setting and independently as required, to achieve goals and objectives in a fast-paced schedule driven environment.Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret ClearanceDesired Skills:Knowledge of the GPS Operational Control SegmentBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
