PRINT PRODUCTION / GRAPHIC DESIGN ASSOCIATE
Minuteman Press in Ventura, CA is looking for a Print Production / Graphics person.
We are a small, family-owned business, a fun place to work, and are very involved in the community. We're big on quality print and marketing products, customer service and great first impressions, and we're searching for someone who will be the perfect fit for this position.
This position will be responsible for managing the production workflow to meet our client’s print, marketing and design projects.
Responsibilities:
· Operate digital and wide format printers
· Operate finishing equipment
· Manage production workflow
· Manage customer inquiries
· Manage supplies
· Communicate with vendors
· Utilize our management software
Expectations:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and staff.
· Highly organized/Detail-oriented
· Proficient in math and units of measurement as applicable to prepress layout and finishing
· A high personal standard of quality
· A level of strength and comfort with computers and related technology
· Must thrive in a deadline-driven work environment
The position also involves frequent use of technology; training on high-speed production printers and copiers will be provided, but a strength with computers and technology are a must. A basic knowledge of design software is helpful. You will be expected to learn all facets of the business.
Bilingual candidates are a plus! Graphic Design experience is a plus!
