Seniors Helping Seniors® matches mature adults with seniors who need help in order to remain living independently. We're seeking the best In-Home Caregivers in Camarillo and the surrounding communities.

To do so, we commit to pairing caregivers with care receivers who share similar interests and backgrounds. Seniors Helping Seniors® caregivers also help with daily tasks like light house cleaning, meal preparation, light yardwork, medication reminders, and transportation to and from appointments or social events. Additionally, we offer 24/7 support for those with more advanced needs, as well as specialized assistance for individuals with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Qualifications:
- Mature individuals who consistently demonstrate patience, empathy, reliability, professionalism, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and are personable. 50+ years old (helps with compatibility and matching clients with caregivers)
- Willingness to work harmoniously with staff, clients, and client’s family
- Legal U.S. resident of the U.S.
- Valid California Driver’s License, Clean Driving Record with no more than 2 moving violations, and a dependable Vehicle with Current Auto Insurance is required for most positions. Some exceptions may apply.
- California law requires all caregivers to pass a background check with the Department of Justice and FBI (via LiveScan fingerprint process). A fair amount of people knowingly or unknowingly are already cleared and we can easily help you check. If not, it's a simple process we'll walk you through!
- Negative TB (tuberculosis) test
- COVID vaccinations
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and move intermittently during working hours. Able-bodied is a must!
We are especially in need of caregivers for weekend shifts from 7am-7pm.
