Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of special needs students? Amergis Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Classroom Aide to join our team in Thousand Oaks. This position involves working one-on-one with special needs students, providing support and assistance to help them succeed in a classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to special needs students during classroom activities.
- Assist with academic tasks, including reading, writing, and math.
- Support students with daily living skills and personal care as needed.
- Be available Monday - Friday, following the school day calendar
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with special needs students is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Details:
- $18 an hour
- Weekly pay
