About 805 Connects: Tribe Together, dba 805 Connects provides exceptional social recreation services to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities throughout Ventura County. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for persons served by promoting independence, social skills, and community integration through engaging activities and supportive care.
Position Overview: We are seeking an innovative, compassionate, and dedicated manager to join our team. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the company in organizing and implementing social recreational activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, communication skills, networking skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to improving the lives of adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Hiring Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
· Fluent in Spanish and English preferred.
· Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance. DMV report and access to a vehicle required.
· Negative alcohol/drug screening in accordance with California law.
· Cleared upon hire and maintained Department of Justice (DOJ) clearance.
· Goal-oriented, organized leader with excellent customer service skills.
· Proficient in written and oral communication.
· Fluent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Typing speed of at least 40 WPM and skilled in internet-based programs.
· Credit score in good standing.
· Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds unless restricted by a physician.
· Ability to sit for extended periods and look at a computer screen for long durations.
· Ability to maintain a composed and professional demeanor.
Job Duties May Include, But Not Limited To:
· Perform a variety of tasks for the company, including:
o Communication via email, fax, texting, and phone calls.
o Manages company credit card.
o Networking and marketing management.
o Scheduling, billing, filing, copying, scanning, maintaining digital databases.
o Report writing, intake management, authorization management, collecting materials, organizing/restocking supplies.
o Event planning/set up, event attendance, organization, running company errands, etc.
· Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
· Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Prioritize deadlines, stay well-organized, and maintain good relationships with the team.
· Display positivity, productivity, and high levels of professionalism.
· Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Calendar, Outlook, Adobe, Canvas and other electronic tools effectively.
· Collaborate with co-workers, peers, and management, maintaining good communication and relations.
· Adapt to the evolving and changing needs of the position with a positive attitude.
Schedule: Maintains flexible schedule to meet company needs, which does include evenings and weekends.
Compensation: $68,640.00 Annual Salary, + Benefits
