Join our award winning team! Part-time Museum guides wanted for the Leonis Adobe Museum, located in Old Town Calabasas. Guided tour and/or teaching experience is a plus. Guide daily interactive school tours through our historic site, an 1880s rancho with an adobe house, interior rooms, barn and farm animals. As a guide and educator, you will provide information on the history of our museum and life in the 1800s. The school tour is an active 3 hours from 9 am to 12 noon set mostly outdoors but under covered areas. There is also an interpretive Chumash school tour for 3rd grade students. We are looking for energetic people with an outgoing personality, sense of humor, ability to multi-task, and a team player who enjoys history and connecting with the past. Hours/schedule vary depending on number of hours and day a week you can work. Weekend hours are also available for guides to greet guests and share our history.
