The CNC Programmer/CAD Drafter will be instrumental in developing and maintaining CNC programs, creating new ones, and optimizing existing programs. Your role will also include drafting professional drawings for our clients and manufacturing team. You will work in a high-production manufacturing facility and must demonstrate a commitment to safety, teamwork, and effective time management.
Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
$20.00-$27.00/hour + Benefits
Responsibilities:
Write, develop, and edit CNC programs.
Create setup instructions for CNC operators.
Study blueprints, work orders, and specifications to ensure accurate setup sequences.
Keep detailed records for equipment and procedures.
Observe each machine to verify quality performance.
Draft mechanical drawings using CAD software, primarily AutoCAD.
Collaborate with project coordinators and the design team on project drawings.
Prepare submittal packages with product information, details, and elevation drawings.
Manage and organize the CAD drawing library for ongoing projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1+ year of experience with AutoCAD 2018 or newer OR relevant vocational training
Experience with CNC mills and routers
Experience in architectural and/or mechanical drafting
Proficiency in Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Fusion 360)
Strong Word Excel and math skills
