The Raven Tavern is seeking an experienced and organized bar manager to join our team. In this position, you will play a key role in handling the day-to-day operations of the bar and staff. You will ensure all health and safety procedures are met and contribute to the overall success of the business. This is a full-time position requiring full availability. Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to a team of people
Drive development of employees
Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
Ensure bar space follows all licensing requirements and health and safety guidelines
Mix drinks, pour and serve wine, beer, and other beverages as needed
Continue to stay ahead of trends by creating innovative menu items
Recruit, train, and supervise new bar staff
Handle paperwork and other administrative duties
Maintain stock levels and order supplies when necessary
Address guest inquiries and complaints
Handle complaints, conflicts, questions, and suggestions from restaurant employees
Keep relevant statistical and financial records
Reporting ability on a daily, weekly and monthly basis regarding Inventory, Sales Tracking, Labor, Cost of Goods Analysis, etc.
Qualifications
At least 3+ years Management experience in a full service, high volume restaurant establishment
Management and Customer Service Experience Strong administrative skills
Demonstrated ability to lead
Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting Strong communications skills
