Bossie’s Kitchen is searching for passionate Line Cooks and Servers to join our team!
Owned by chefs Lauren Herman and Christina Olufson, Bossie's is a casual corner restaurant located in the "cow building" on Milpas and Canon Perdido, just blocks from the Santa Barbara Bowl. We are currently open for lunch and dinner Wednesday-Sunday (closed Monday and Tuesday), looking to build our team to expand our service hours. Our menu is seasonal, farmers' market sourced, and made from scratch.
Candidates must be professional with a good attitude, able to become part of a team, and have a desire to learn and grow.
Line cooks:
One to two years cooking experience in a chef-run kitchen is preferred. Dinner shifts are 3:30pm-close Wednesday through Sunday; hourly wage $17-18 (depending on experience), PLUS tips average $20+ per hour.
All candidates:
- Passionate, organized, positive attitude and have a strong work ethic.

- Able to focus on details and consistency in service.
- Excited about working with the best locally sourced ingredients.
- Dedicated to professional and personal growth.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Able to maintain high standards in customer service, guest experience, and quality of ingredients and preparation.
Additional Requirements:
-Ability to multitask and quickly adapt to changing menu items or new cooking techniques.
- Flexible availability
- Experience in a fast paced restaurant
- Servsafe certified and/or California Food Handlers Card
- Servers must be RBS certified
