Larsen's Grill in Simi Valley is looking for experienced dishwashers to join our amazing team! We are open for dinner only, so night time availability is a must. Weekends and all holidays are mandatory. Social security numbers will be verified prior to hiring.
Duties and requirements include but are not limited to:
- Load, run, and unload dish machine.
- Monitor sanitizing levels and report any unsafe levels to management.
- Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
- Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
- Keep dish room clean and organized.
- Bag and haul trash to dumpster at end of night and throughout shift if necessary.
- Clean food prep areas as required.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by managers.
- General cleaning duties as well as deep cleaning as assigned by management.
Must be able to:
- Work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of time.
- Safely lift trash bags, plates, buckets, flatware, and other heavy items continuously throughout shift.
- Lift, reach, bend, stoop, twist, and climb.
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Provide a California Food Handler certificate within 30 days of hire date.
