Position: Part-Time Barista
Hours:
Morning Shift: 7:30am - 11:00am
Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 7:00pm
Night Shift: 9:00pm - 12:00am
Total Weekly Hours: Up to 30 hours
Start Date: September 1st
Compensation: $16.00 per hour + Tips
About Us: Welcome to Zoomies Cafe, the ultimate dog-themed haven where coffee meets canine! At Zoomies Cafe, we celebrate the joy of dogs and coffee, providing a unique atmosphere for both our customers and their furry friends. Our cafe is always buzzing with dogs hanging out, so being comfortable around them is a must.
Role and Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and snacks with a smile
Manage high-volume rushes efficiently while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café
Assist customers with their orders and provide exceptional service
Handle cash and card transactions accurately
Engage with our four-legged guests, ensuring a friendly and safe environment for them
Follow health and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a barista with the ability to handle high-volume rushes effectively
Must be comfortable working around dogs and have a genuine love for them
Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, and late nights
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Team player with a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere
