Caravan Outpost was founded in 2015 in Ojai, CA as a unique hospitality concept. We are centered on providing an exceptional experience for our guests. Today, the Outpost serves thousands of visitors each year and has a guest list that includes a broad and creative range of wonderful guests.

We are a small, dynamic business with a spirit for adventure and continual improvement of the company. We are seeking 1-2 new part-time team members who are ready to take a step into 'a different kind of job' where the focus is helping people have an amazing visit to our downtown Ojai location.

We require 100% dependable team members who will immerse themselves in their position. We are seeking people that add to our culture with humor and a positive attitude.

There is a wide range of tasks and skills required in this role. The growth trajectory is towards leadership and expansion. The successful candidate will be a person who is ambitious and flexible. Good candidates are people who can adapt quickly and have an enthusiastic 'can do' attitude.

The roles primary tasks are to efficiently and successfully execute the following processes for the team including (but not limited to):

(1) Customer Service – provide Outpost guests with best in class service. Adhere to, and provide ongoing input into, our customer-centered approach. Add value by being authentic, transparent and in search of constant improvement. In this role you will help manage our Airstream Trailer rooms - Airstream knowledge is a plus but not required. You will be required to do some lifting on this role, 25lbs and under.

(2) Manage guests requests, check in, check out, returns and credits during the workday.

(3) Excellent Communications - management of incoming emails and providing service/ information for walk in customers, answering all phone inquiries in a quick and efficient manner.

(4) Retail – Serve as the primary Retail sales staff while on shift. Process Shopify transactions, returns and refunds as may be required. Interest in fashion and art is a plus!

(5) Managing customer data – Input and Editing of customer data in our property management system. Computer skills a must. Candidates with previous property management system abilities are encouraged to apply. Familiar with Googledocs, Gmail and general use of a Mac helpful.

(6) Inventory management - assist the Retail team in completing a quarterly inventory.

(7) Resolve and solve customer complaints in a manner that 'creates more customers'.
