Qualifications
1 year of caregiving or companion experience required.
LVN/CNA in training a plus, but not required.
Nursing student a plus, but not required.
Must have an HCA License (We can help you get your HCA License if you do not have it)
High level acuity experience HIGHLY preferred (i.e.: bed bound experience, ostomy care, catheter care, N-G tube care, Hoyer lift, Dementia/Alzheimer's/Parkinson's Disease/Cerebral Palsy experience, continence care, maximum transfer assistance)
Able to work independently with client direction
Strong attention to detail
Patience, compassion & understanding
Clear communication skills - verbal and written
Have a working dependable car with up-to-date car insurance
Able to handle early onset hospice care
Understanding of memory care a plus
Able to assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, escorting and incontinence care.
Able to do light housekeeping, cooking and provide medication reminders.
Bilingual in SPANISH; a plus but not required
