Who we are:
Our mission is to serve all people with developmental disabilities in their communities, as individuals, with services tailored to their needs, honoring choices, and empowering people to enhance life quality.
We were established in 2006 and independently owned/operated. We provide support throughout the county of Ventura. We provide supported living, independent living, and respite services to individuals with disabilities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Implements all required individual program plans, which may include but is not limited to training an individual with: exercise, minor lifting and training in cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, budgeting, banking, attending medical appointments and observation of taking prescribed medications, transportation, personal hygiene tasks, implementing and completing behavioral plans, resources, community involvement, and social activities.
Ability to provide transportation and/ or utilize public mobility training/ transportation to assist participants with their daily needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
REQUIRED: High School diploma or GED equivalent, valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, DMV report (required for employees who meet driving policy requirements); first aid training, CPR training (on the job training and assistance is provided); and DOJ/FBI clearance. Bilingual in Spanish preferred (fluent in reading/writing/speaking).

Hours:
SAGE operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, including holidays. The hours are flexible and based on the needs of persons served. SAGE hires part time and full time employees, with a variety of availability options. We are actively looking to hire for the hours of 2:00 pm - 10:00pm and weekends.
Full time employment is only available to applicants with evening and weekend availability.
Extra earnings opportunities for employees working in the Conejo area (Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, and Simi Valley) and weekends (8:00am-10:00pm)
