Dental Assistant

Full time – Temp to hire.
Monday thru Friday – 7am to 4pm
$19 to $20hr depending on experience.
Seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring the comfort of our patients. Duties:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records.
Perform dental receptionist duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months’ work experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
Proficiency in medical imaging software.
Experience working with pediatric patients preferred.
Knowledge of dental receptionist duties.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical coding.
