Clove Dental (clovedds.com) is an emerging dental group in Ventura County. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant (DA) to join our team! If you are a motivated self-starter with an excellent work ethic, we would love to hear from you. DA1 can assist the dentist directly as needed.
Compensation: Based on experience

Responsibilities:
Greet patients and make them feel comfortable
Assist dentists during procedure
Take x-rays and impressions
Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean environment
Supply monitoring
Lab case monitoring
Daily, weekly, and monthly logs
Prescription calling
Provide post-operative instructions to patients
Document clinical notes precisely, logically, and concisely
Complete additional task as requested or assigned
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience at a dental practice (1 year as sterilization tech)
Must have a High School Diploma or GED, or a certification from a dental college is advantageous
Must have strong communication and organizational skills
Experience with Diamond Dental, Dentrix, Open Dental, or other Dental Practice Management Software
HepB, 8-Hour Infection Control Certification, California x-ray license, and CPR/BLS certification
